The Astronomer is a psychedelic, cosmic sci-fi Western that follows a solitary astronomer as he tracks an ominous comet across the night sky. While traversing a blasted wasteland, he encounters the ruins of a lost Yeti civilization, bloodthirsty mutant zealots bent on human sacrifice, powerful hallucinogenic roots, feuding bloodgods from outer space, mysterious floating heads, and ultimately, the shocking true nature of the comet.
