This body of work was originally shown in the exhibition Terra Firmament, Part 2 at ICOSA in Austin, TX. The spaces depicted in these landscape paintings are informed by film stills from Western, Fantasy, and Science Fiction movies. These environments have been denuded of all evidence of life, leaving behind rocky and alien landscapes. Each work is presented alongside the film still it was based on.
