Hello! Please enjoy these proof-of-concept mockups of my animation work projected behind musical acts during live shows. Long-form versions of these animations would run the length of a live music set and can be customized for a bespoke video experience tailored to your performance.
These animations were assembled from paintings that were originally exhibited at ICOSA Gallery in Austin, TX. The paintings are informed by stills from Western, Fantasy, and Science Fiction films. Ennio Morricone and Yojimbo were based on landscapes from the 1964 Sergio Leone film Fistful of Dollars. The Approach draws inspiration from the famous “Stargate Sequence” at the end of Stanley Kubrick’s 1968 masterpiece 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Check out the rest of the paintings from the exhibition here and reach out here with any questions whatsoever. Thanks for having a look, we look forward to working with your act!
